Dear Centrepoint Family,

On a Sunday in May 2006, a small faith-filled group of 30 adults and 20 kids opened the doors of Centrepoint Church for the first time. In and amongst the hustle and bustle of setting up staging and signage, chairs and coffee, there was a palpable excitement that we were part of a historical moment. The highlight of that first service was seeing one person make a decision to commit their life to Christ. That moment made all of the hard work and sacrifice worth it.

It’s been 16 years since that day, and though our church has grown in size and influence, our passion remains the same. Through the generosity of our church, we have built buildings, launched campuses, provided critical emergency relief and partnered with organisations locally and abroad to rescue the lost.

In 2022, we’re drawn to the biblical account of Solomon dedicating the magnificent newly completed temple built for the Lord. Though it required sacrifices, vision, finances, energy and commitment on a grand scale, nothing could derail Solomon, for he knew the purpose of his life’s work:

“So that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other.” (1 Kings 8:60 NIV)

At that moment, Solomon declared the purpose of building the temple. It wasn’t to make a name for himself or bring glory to his brand but rather to make God’s name famous and point people to Him.

This is why we have themed Miracle Offering 2022; THAT ALL MAY KNOW HIM!

We have prayerfully chosen every project because each aligns with our theme to lead the lost to Christ.

With faith and wisdom, we ask you to consider how you can be part of Miracle Offering 2022.

Warm regards,
