What courses are available?
Two study pathways are available to students at Centrepoint College

Pathway 1:  10608NAT Diploma of Leadership (Christian Work)
This is delivered by Centrepoint Church as part of a VET Third Party arrangement with Alphacrucis College

Pathway 2:  Online Higher Education Diploma of Leadership delivered by Alphacrucis College.
Centrepoint College hosts students who are enrolled in the higher education diploma of leadership with Alphacrucis. Course content and academic support is provided online by Alphacrucis and Centrepoint College provides additional community and practical placement internship experiences.

What subjects are included in the courses?

What is the course schedule?

For 2021, Centrepoint College runs from Feb 1 – Nov 26, with a mid-year break of Jun 12 – Jul 18.

Student community and practical placement internship experiences are primarily on Tuesday mornings, afternoons & evenings, with other flexible options available.

Assessments include online tests, written & practical tasks. Full time students should plan for at least 4 – 6 hours per week for the practical internship and 8 hours per week out of class study.

How does part-time study work?

You can choose to either attend the sessions on Tuesday nights (7-9pm) OR Tuesday days (9am-3pm). The practical internship units require additional involvement within your local church.

What are the Entry Requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements for the 10608NAT Diploma of Leadership. However a High School Certificate level of English competency is recommended to ensure successful completion of the course.

What is the cut off date for enrolment?

Enrolments for Semester 1, 2021 should to be received by Monday, 18 January in order to avoid administrative delays

What is the cost of the course?

The cost of the 10608NAT Diploma of Leadership (Church Work) in 2021 is $620/unit (12 units). No FEE-HELP is available for this course.

How does FEE-HELP work and who is eligible?

A FEE-HELP loan is available for eligible students enrolling in the online Higher Education Diploma of Leadership with Alphacrucis College. Please note that FEE-HELP may incur a loan fee of 25%. Information on Fee-Help and eligibility can be found here on the study assist website

Are the courses nationally recognised?

The 10608NAT Diploma of Leadership (Church Work) is accredited with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) through Alphacrucis College (RTO Provider Code 90525) in Sydney.  This is the official national college for the Australian Christian Churches and is working its way to becoming the first Christian University in Australia.

Both the 10608NAT Diploma of Leadership (Church Work) and the Higher Education Diploma of Leadership are recognised by Alphacrucis as equivalent to the first year of their bachelor degree in Ministry or Theology.
